This class will incorporate short breath work and meditation, but focus more on flowing movement and themes. Each week will focus on a part of the body or a psychological concept. We will work on strength, flexibility, but also comfort and serenity. This is yoga for the body and mind, and will be adapted to all levels, including some challenging poses with easier modifications. This class can be attended by all levels— if you’re new to yoga but confident you can follow along, join in!

Ashtanga Led Half-Primary Series

90 min

This is a movement-focussed class that works on strength and opening of the body as well as focus and connection to the breath. The mind is engaged as we push our strength and breathing and keeps ourselves in contact with the edge of our comfort zone. The sequencing of this class stays the same every week, so that progress can be seen and felt over time.

Leslie Glen, Yoga Teacher trained in Goa

My yoga background & philosophy

I have been practicing yoga on and off for nearly 20 years. Today, I primarily practice traditional Ashtanga, a strict and challenging style of yoga that I fell in love with during my teacher training in March 2024. I did my 200hr YYT training in Mandrem, Goa (India) with Sthira Yoga School under Sudhir Rishi (Founder) and Andreea Aradits (Ashtanga trainer).

I began practicing and studying Buddhism and Eastern Philosophy in 2020; just before I began my Masters in ‘Western’ Psychology. My yoga classes intend to wholly integrate mind-body health and well-being from a physical, spiritual, philosophical and psychological perspective.
